Mississippi
As the name of the state implies, Mississippi is home to the Mississippi River. The southern part of the state is made up of lowlands. There are also areas of the state that are heavily forested. Mississippi is an agricultural powerhouse, due in large part to its hearty soil. Some of the crops that come from this area are pecans, catfish, and cotton.
