Utah
Nearly 80 percent of the population of Utah can be found in the area of Salt Lake City, with the remainder of the state being sparsely populated. A major industry in Utah is tourism, as Utah is famous for recreational outdoor activities, with several monuments, national parks, forests, and ski resorts all across the state. There is also quite of bit of mining done there, including silver, gold, copper, coal, and petroleum, as well as other fuels that contribute a significant amount to the economy of Utah. Approximately two-thirds of the residents Utah consider themselves members of the Mormon religion, making this state one of the most homogeneous states with regards to religion, and it is a major part of the culture of the state.
