Gold’s surge has seemed unstoppable this year. Investors in stocks should take heed.
The most actively traded Comex gold futures contract hit an intraday record of $2617.40 on Monday. Futures have surged 26% this year, clocking in 34 fresh settlement highs so far in 2024.
Gold has become a more attractive investment as yields on government bonds have moved lower, while the dollar has lost value.
